This five star grand spacious property stands elevated looking across the Lledr Valley, just a short walk into Betws-y-Coed town. This 4 bedroom traditional Welsh Manor house sleeps up to 8 people, offering a tranquil self-catering getaway in the heart of the Welsh countryside. With the highest level of comfort in mind, we have carefully designed & lovingly restored each room enhancing the character of the Victorian era since 2001 years.
The house can be opened up to join Gardners Cottage/Bwthyn Coedfa Bach and used as one spacious accommodation sleeping 12 persons with 3 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms and 2 downstairs toilets.
Check in and out days are Mondays and Fridays (3 night week end break) (4 night mid week break) week plus
Reduced rates as an optional extra to the Stations Leisure a short walk from the property £95 for all guests for the duration of the stay
Up to 2 dogs at an additional £10 per dog per night
Optional Extra is to order seasoned logs for the woodturners or outside firepit at £25

More about the cottage
The Estate House boasts an acre garden to explore,(if booking both house and cottage) with an original Victorian water feature, small woodland and even its own stream. You can dine alfresco in the summer sun on your own private patio that seats up to 12 people.
Its adjoining property Gardners cottage/Bwthyn Coedfa Bach (sleeps 4) was the servants quarters for the main house during the Victorian times which can be booked separately. Please email to enquire and book (prices and availability on the web page)
Downstairs consists of a Smallbone kitchen with granite top. A 2 oven gas Aga together with Aga trays and pans and Aga Toaster and an electric toaster. An electric kettle together with an Aga kettle. Electric oven and microwave. Coffee machine. Larder fridge and upright freezer. Also an undercounter fridge. Hand whisk and a Kitchen Aid. Utility room with all other essential kitchen appliances -washer & dryer included a clothes horse for drying. A dining room with a grand table and chairs and an original stone fireplace with woodburner. TV with CD and several cd to view. A comfortable lounge with large sofas and a woodburner. There is a library of books and some toys. The cloakroom with stained glass window completes the ground floor of the property.

Taking the grand staircase up to the 4 large spacious bedrooms you’ll find 1 twin room with original iron beds, a small shower room & views over the terrace. There are two double bedrooms, one with an original half tester bed, that share a large family bathroom.
The master bedroom has an original four-poster walnut bed and a large en-suite bathroom and dressing room
Parking
Space for 4 cars on the private driveway of Woodlands Estate/Plas Coedfa Hall approx 40 yards. (Currently, there are no electric chargers at the property, The nearby Waterloo & Royal Oak hotel have this facility).
Check in and out days are Mondays and Fridays only.
We accept up to 2 dogs at £10 per night per dog

Leisure Facilities
Included in the price is full use of the leisure facilities at the nearby Waterloo Hotel. This includes the use of the swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The hotel is approx. 10 min walk from Coedfa with pavement and lighting.
